FilmOffaly would like to engage an individual/company to deliver an “Introduction To Screen Acting Workshop” to a group of approximately 10-12 students. This workshop should be designed to give an introductory insight into the major aspects of acting in front of a camera.

Tutors are encouraged to bring their own creative approach to the workshop structure, but the programme should broadly cover:

•    The key differences between stage and screen acting
•    Understanding the roles and dynamics of a film set
•    Practical exercises and performance in front of the camera
•    An insight into how to develop a career in film & TV acting and the different career paths available.
 

It is intended that this workshop takes the form of in-person teaching and will run over two days.
