Wonder House written and directed by Oonagh Kearney explores the role objects play in the creative process by inviting scientists to talk about childhood memories that sparked their imaginations. Using these conversations as a starting point and adopting the metaphor of a young girl discovering an old house, Wonder House testifies to the importance of play in the early development of a love for science and art. Commissioned by the Reel Art Scheme and produced by John Kelleher, Wonder House was filmed in County Offaly at Charleville Castle in September 2011.
