FilmOffaly announces a call for applications for the 2024 Short Film Award 

FilmOffaly is delighted to announce its Short Film Award 2024. This year’s award sees an increase in available funding to €12,000. The award’s main initiative is to encourage creative and resourceful filmmaking in Offaly.  The scheme seeks submissions that are unique, with original stories by talented new filmmakers and film professionals. The only stipulation is that the filming must take place in Offaly!

We are delighted to announce our FilmOffaly Short Film Award winner for 2023 - the winning script was A Simple Killing by Mark Conway and it will be produced in Offaly in 2024 by the production team, Jason Branagan, (Director) Mark de Carreau, (Actor, Producer) Emer Durcan (Producer) and Brian Durcan (Cinematographer) of Western Front Studios.
